Jugbuddy Inc. began in 2009, named for its first product, the Jugbuddy. Several years ago, four friends were discussing automotive oil changes and the messes they made when moving used oil from the oil drain pan into a container, (usually a 1 gallon milk carton). One of the friends, Ed Foster, a business owner in the Rockford area, came up with a solution and drew the idea on a piece of paper. The jugbuddy was born! Since then it has gone through some changes and testing to become "the amazing funnel that stands on its own". The Jugbuddy is meant to leave your hands free to pour without worrying whether the whole contraption is going to end up in a mishap on the floor. Made of high-density polyethylene, the Jugbuddy is stable, stackable, and can be used in any number of fluid transfer applications.
